The Sentinel
The Sentinel is an advanced uplink-noise monitoring analyzer designed to give installers complete confidence in their cellular repeater installations.
By continuously monitoring uplink noise levels from the repeater and connected antennas, the Sentinel ensures that no harmful interference is generated toward mobile network operators. With real-time monitoring and automatic alerts, it provides peace of mind that the system remains compliant, stable, and operator- friendly — allowing installers to truly sleep at night knowing the
network is protected.
Monitoring dashboard
In manual mode, the Sentinel dashboard allows one to view the current uplink spectrum for any band. This is useful for real-time monitoring of the spectrum. In automatic mode, the spectrum for each band is monitored constantly. If any uplink noise is detected, the spectrum data is saved locally and buffered up to the cloud server, for analysis by a user at any later stage. Any anomaly will trigger an email alert with a recorded segment of the suspicious spectrum activity. The Sentinel also allows for network scanning of the signal outside the building.
Uplink Spectrum Noise Monitor
The uplink spectrum is monitored across all six cellular bands. An intelligent algorithm detects signal noise above acceptable thresholds, triggering an alert to notify the user.
Network Cell Scanning
The internal modem and embedded SIM allow for a periodic automatic network scan. This allows for in-depth monitoring of the exterior RF environment. The cell towers in the vicinity of the building can be checked to ensure good quality incoming signal.
